Doing DEI Differently
Course
Study & Songs to Support DEI Awareness
Overview
You’ll have 16 weeks to explore all the materials, complete the activities, and (optionally), submit a brief written CPD exercise about DEI.
In this course, we take time to talk about why behaving in fair and respectful ways is so important for everyone, especially young children who are just learning to make their way in the world. By teaching these ideas through songs, we make learning fun and memorable.
We cover topics like who we are (identity), how we treat others ( prejudice and discrimination), why sometimes we don’t notice unfairness (unconscious bias), and many more aspects too. We also show how understanding these ideas helps us to grow and develop as kind and thoughtful people, no matter how young or old we are.
Join us to learn how the words we use, the way we see others, and how we act, can make a big difference in creating a world that’s fair for everyone.
The course is available to you for 16 weeks, and the content is delivered in three blocks:
Introductory Module: immediately.
Modules 1&2: within 24 hours of registration, and
Modules 3 – 8: 15 days after registration.
We want all our students to enjoy the course, feel supported by the personalised service we provide, and extend their DEI knowledge beyond anything they imagined! To this end, we will always strive to accommodate individual learning styles and needs. Feel free to contact us to start a conversation!
